NorthRadar vs ViB
ViB and NorthRadar both start from an opted-in audience they own. ViB's is a community of tech professionals who answer surveys and take meetings, sometimes for gift cards. NorthRadar's is readers on comparison sites whose behaviour is recorded. One asks the buyer what they are considering; the other watches it happen on the page.

ViB is the right buy for booked meetings and webinar registrations with a guarantee, and it publishes its prices, which few in this category do. Its intent is declared, not observed, its own FAQ confirms members can be incentivised, and its survey-verified Deal Intent product is described as no longer available. NorthRadar is the buy when you need behaviour a buyer did not know was being measured: the comparison, the alternatives read, the pricing view.
A fair summary, in our words.
ViB, founded in 2008 and now based in Florida, runs the ViB Community, which it describes as millions of technology professionals, and sells four programs on top of it: dedicated emails from $2,200 a send, appointments from $1,400 a meeting held, content syndication from $45 a lead, and managed webinars from $15,500. Members join by opting in and share profile and project data, so ViB's intent is declared through surveys and sign-ups. It is a G2 Leader in lead generation services with 84% client retention.
Where the data comes from decides everything else.
Field by field: what lands in your CRM from each.
What it costs, as far as either side publishes it.
Published: syndication from $45 a lead, appointments from $1,400 a meeting held, dedicated emails from $2,200 a send, webinars from $15,500, and a legacy Deal Intent lead at $450 in ViB's earlier pricing post. Campaign based with no fixed minimum term. G2 reviewers tag it Expensive more than any other complaint.

What ViB customers say in public reviews.
Quoted from the linked reviews. We chose representative complaints and, below them, what customers praise.
“We have gotten some great leads from VIB that for whatever reason have not yielded closed won deals. Pipeline numbers look great but unless they become revenue, it doesn't matter.”
G2 review
“Could improve the management of their community to reduce misuse of the community for people seeking rewards.”
G2 review
“The 'community' members are coached and paid to take meetings. There is no intent there.”

- Best lead generation vendor for webinar replays, per one G2 reviewer; strong scores for support, communication and response time.
- Prices are published, which almost nobody else in the category does.
- One customer story reports about half of leads converting to opportunities.
- You want booked appointments or webinar registrations with a guarantee.
- You value declared intent from a community that answers surveys.
- You need human touches: vetting and meeting setting.
- You want observed behaviour: the buyer compared you against a named rival on a page, and the timestamp is on the lead.
- You want signals that cannot be influenced by an incentive, because the buyer did not know they were being measured.
- You want the data as a feed for your own stack rather than a program with a meeting at the end.
Use ViB for appointments inside a target account list and a NorthRadar program for the in-market people at those accounts. Reconcile both on pipeline. If a ViB meeting and a NorthRadar comparison land on the same account, you have declared and observed intent agreeing, which is the strongest signal either vendor can give you.
Questions buyers ask when comparing us with ViB.
Declared intent or recorded intent: which is better?
Both are first-party. Declared intent tells you what a buyer says they are planning. Recorded intent tells you what they did on a comparison page. Declared is better for booking a meeting; recorded is better for knowing who you are up against and when.
Are ViB community members paid?
ViB's community FAQ says it uses incentives, usually gift cards, to thank members for responding to surveys and in certain cases for participating in programs. Whether that affects intent is disputed in public reviews. NorthRadar readers are not incentivised; they are comparing software because they need to.
Does NorthRadar set appointments?
No. NorthRadar delivers named, consented leads with the vendors compared and the engagement log, into your CRM or a webhook. Meeting setting stays with your team or a partner such as ViB.
Does NorthRadar have a community?
Our properties include newsletters and a buyer community that keep readers close before they enter market. We use them to nurture and to record behaviour, not to survey members for intent.
How do prices compare?
ViB publishes starting prices: $45 a syndication lead, $1,400 a meeting, $2,200 a send. NorthRadar syndication is also $45 a lead, and a dedicated email is $4,500 a send to your ICP. Compare on cost per opportunity, not cost per lead: ours carries the vendors compared and the consent record.
Can ViB and NorthRadar run together?
Yes. A common pattern is ViB for appointments in a target account list and a NorthRadar program for the in-market people at those accounts, with both reported on pipeline.
